none. Larval stages of different maturity of ichneumon flies and so called nodules, i.e. mostly encysted parasitoids, were revealed by dissection of the larvae in diapause of Cephalcia abietis (L.). Finds of parasitic worms from the Nematoda group were scarce (the nematodes Steinernema kraussei Steiner). The revealed larvae of ichneumon flies belonged to the species Homaspis narrator (Grav.) in 80% of the cases. A dissection of two just dropped larvae of Cephalcia arvensis Pz. (summer phenological form) provided three eggs of the ichneumon fly Xenoschesis fulvipes (Grav.). At a dissection of the diapausing larvae of C. abietis one, not identified before now, ichneumon fly larva with the residue of the enveloping membrane was found. The rearing of the larvae in diapause with nodule showed that these individuals were sometimes able to survive with success after destruction of the parasite in their body even though attacked by it. No relationship was determined between the maturity stage of ichneumon fly larvae and the developmental stage of the host, but it is only to say that the youngest stages of larvae (L-1) were found in the larvae of the younger developmental stages (e-1, e-2). Tentative dissection of the larvae which died at laboratory rearing provided in most cases either a dead ichneumon fly larva or a nodule. Velke Karlovice & Knezice, Czech Republic.
