Parasitic hymenopterids, and particularly Pristomerus orbitalis Holmgr., Macrocentrus buoliana Eady et Clark, and Apanteles lemarie Nix. appeared to be the most important enemies of E. dodecella . Examination of parasitic infestation in E. dodecella larvae with the dissection technique indicated on average 11.4% for 3 years, while with the use of culture technique during 4 years of studies on average 19.3% infestation was ascertained. These data would indicate that the role of parasites in the reduction of E. dodecella population is rather insignificant.
