none Entered This research measured weight changes of Diadegma semiclausum pupae at low temperature storage. Under low temperature, there were two kinds of developmental types in the pupae: development and undevelopment. The pupae lost weight at low temperature as compared with those at normal temperature. Under 10 [degree]C, weight loss in the undeveloping pupae was relatively slower than that in the developing pupae and the control pupae. Emergence rate was lower at 10 [degree]C than at normal temperature, being 33% for female pupae and 70% for male pupae. Our results show that the undeveloping pupae survive low temperature by maintaining low metabolism rate, exhibiting a certain ecological adaptability. Oct 2014
