comment:
Leafminers species of genus Liriomyza can originate severe damages in horticulture protected crops. The galleries produce food activity of their larvae on the leafs destroying part of the foliar mass. Whether the plantation is young or in case of seedlings, these damages could affect the suitable crop development. In order to control this pest and, as a alternative of chemical control within the IPM program, releases of parasitoid D. isaea are done, with good result in general. However, considering Almeria's crop conditions, it has been identified a wide complex of parasitoids associated to the leafminers pest. The possibilities of these parasitoids are barely unknown. The species of parasitoids associated naturally to the leafminers have been studied in a bean crop under plastic during two campaigns in autumn and one in spring. The results obtained indicate that Chrysonotomyia formosa was the predominant specie in autumn with high percentage of parasitism found in both autumn cycles (75.7% and 55.3%) while that in the spring cycle the more plentiful parasitoide was D. isaea with a percentage of 45.5 %.
