none Entered Flight capacity of 5 age groups of Agrypon flexorius Thunberg was tested using a computer monitored flight mill system. The results show that adult of different ages showed different flight ability, being the weakest in 1 day old adults and the strongest in 5 day old adults. Further studies show that 20 [degree]C and 60% RH was suitable for adult flight in 5 day old A. flexorius. When temperature reached above 28 [degree]C, flight was decreased obviously. At 20 [degree]C, average flight duration, flight distance and flight speed were 1.123 h, 0.99 km, and 0.849 m/s, respectively, for females and 1.25 h, 0.929 km, and 0.838 m/s, respectively, for Males. At 40%, 60% and 80% RH, flight duration were 0.354, 0.829 and 0.176 h for females, respectively, and 0.428, 1.071 and 0.313 h, respectively, for males. The relation between flight distance and humidity was similar to that between flight duration and humidity. At increased temperature, flight duration was prolonged and flight speed was decreased. Flight speed was greater at about 60% RH. Oct 2014
