none Investigations have been carried out in Eastern Sicily on population dynamics of Cacoecimorpha pronubana (Hubner) and Archips rosanus (L.), both considered as injurious to citrus-groves and fruit trees. The young stages of C. pronubana occurred almost exclusively on weeds growing in agrosystems and on olive plants, while A. rosanus larvae live on the spring vegetation of citrus-groves. The parasitic biocenose living on C. pronubana includes six larval parasitoids (five Hymenoptera, Ichneumonidae and one Diptera Tachinidae) and the oophagous species Trichogramma evanescens West. (Hym. Chalcidoidea).
