    noneEnter The investigations on "Premature larval parasitization of gram pod borer, Helicoverpa armigera Hubner on chickpea" were carried out at the Student Research Farm, Nawabganj C. S. Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur during Rabi season 2011-12 and 2012-13. The HaNPV was initiated in 48 SW with 12.50 per cent parasitization at early stage but maximum was recorded in 51 SW (December) with 14.29 per cent and continued to first week of April and the average parasitization by Ha NPV 6.13 was noticed during first year. The parasitization by HaNPV was initiated during 2nd year in 48 SW with 12.50 per cent parasitization at early stage but maximum was recorded in 2nd SW (January) with 20.00 per cent and continued to last week of March. The average parasitization by Ha NPV 6.76 was noticed. The parasitization activity was stared in last week of November with 12.50 per cent parasitization and reached highest in last week of December (52 SW) 25.00 per cent during first year 2011-12. During 2nd year raged parasitization 5.00-25.00 percent recorded during 212-13. The parasitization activity Was highest in 3rd week of January (3 SW) with 25.00 percent parent in second year. The pooling of parasitization by Campoletis chlorideae was recorded 10.25 per cent and 13.24 percent in respective years.
