none Some attempts to release three exotic parasites - Trichogramma brasiliensis, Bracon kirkpatricki and Chelonus blackburni for control of bollworms in cotton near Hissar, Haryana are discussed. Bollworm incidence during the release period (1976-81) tend to be lower compared to non-release (control) field. Parasitism data show some evidence of recovery. Scope for these parasites in augmenting biocontrol of cotton bollworms in Haryana is discussed.
