none. The Ichneumon wasp Homaspis narrator (Grav.) was observed to parasitize the pseudo-caterpillars of the genus Cephalcia Pz., particularly those of the species C. abietis (L.) at all altitudes under study. Its development may be annual, biennial or even triennial. The wasps with the biennial cycle of development appeared to be the basic and most abundant fraction of the population. The annual fraction ranks second. The Ichneumon wasps occur on mass only in areas of lower altitude (up to 600 m a.s.l.) in mixed stands with pine; at higher latitudes it occurs less abundantly in the host populations. The percentage of parasitization by this species is up to 5% at lower altitudes: the resultant level of parasitization is up to 16%. Another Ichneumon wasp, Homaspis rufinus (Grav.), also forms annual, biennial and triemnial subpopulations in the Czech Socialist Republic. It may even develop for four years but the abundance of this fraction of the population is negligible. The biennial population fraction is usually the most abundant of all. The annual subpopulation ranked third and failed to occur in the majority of the stocks. At the higher altitudes the parasitization reached up to 2.2%, and the resultant parasitization at the lower altitudes was up to 9%. The Ichneumon wasp Homaspis subalpina Schm. hatched from the eonymphs of the host only in the lowest-altitude foci of the pest's overpopulation (up to 600 m a.s.l.). Its development was mostly biennial and less frequently triennial. As for the Ichneumon wasp Notopygus nigricornis Kriechb., only one wasp was bred from the eonymph of Cephalcia Pz. at the lowest-altitude site (580 m a.s.l.). Its development was biennial and the imago hatched very late, almost in the mid July. This is the first documented finding of this parasite in the sawflies of the Cephalcia Pz. genus in Central Europe.
