none. This paper presents information on the biology of the endoparasitoid Venturia canescens (Gravenhorst, 1829) under laboratory conditions. This insect was found parasitizing the last larval instars of Anagasta kuehniella (Zeller, 1879), a well-known pest of stored grain. The following data were recorded: development time of egg and larval stages, of pupae and from egg to adult; total life cycle; adult longevity. Since the life cycle of V. canescens varies according to several factors (temperature, number of hosts, etc.) it is suggested that, in the case of its employment as a control agent of other insects, these factors should be verified for each particular situation.
