The first book of five-volume series treats one of the largest insect order Hymenoptera which numbers in the Russian Far East 7503 species in 1363 genera from 69 families. The general data about the diversity of Hymenoptera in the Russian Far East and regions, classification, collecting methods, as biological patterns and economic value of parasitic Hymenoptera are given. The section of each 69 families includes short data and annotated catalogue of genera and species are recorded from the Russian Far East. For each valid genus the type species, synonymy, short data and number of species are given. For each valid species the synonymy, known host plants, hosts or preys and distribution (general and from Russian Far East) are recorded. The book illustrated by black and white total figures of included 69 families. The large bibliography helps to image the level of study of each family. Index of Latin names of Hymenoptera and their hosts and prey (in total 19700 names) will be useful for the search of taxa. 2012 none2012
