none Regularities of gall dispersion in the pine resin gall moth within the profile of 5-year to 10-year trees, the effect of caterpillar feeding on increment loss and parasitoid spectrum were evaluated in Scotch pine stands. The higher rate of infestation with this pest does not lead to tree death, but annual and terminal shoots that are afflicted by developing caterpillars showed on average a 30% loss of increment. The highest extent of infestation was observed in the 3rd whorl from above (31.9% of galls), and the total incidence of the pine resin gall moth accounted for 48% of trees. The rate of parasitization was on average 30%, but the total mortality of the pest amounted to 60%. The braconid Macrocentrus resinellae (46.6%) and the tachina fly Actia nudibasis (37%) were dominant parasitoids.
