none Enter The development of eggs and early embryos of Macrocentrus cingulum are preliminary studied by culturing the eggs without follicle cells dissected from wasps' lateral oviduct and early embryos dissected from parasitized host larvae hemolymph in vitro. The results show that eggs dissected from the lateral oviducts may cleave in the culture medium composed of TC-100, plasma of larvae of its host Ostrinia furnacalis and fetal serum. Primary embryos are released from eggshell into the medium and subsequently cleaved into the secondary embryos. However, the secondary embryos within extraembryonic membrane can not be released. Early embryos dissected from host larvae hemocoel grow bigger in size and proliferate by the invagination of extroembryonic membrane, but they can not develop into the individual stage. Embryos cultured in vitro are finally dead in melanization. Macrocentrus cingulum (Braconidae). noneEmail20150413 lsshj@mail.sysu.edu.cn
