none8JA10 not available not in Young The study was designed to explore the possibility of racial analysis in a rare hillstream fish, Botia dayi Hora which was collected from river Khoh in the foothills of Garhwal Himalaya near Kotdwara. Morphometric characters were correlated with three independent parameters, viz., total length, standard length and head length. Meristic characters were also studied for more than hundred specimens.
