3 species of the saw-fly genus Sharliphora Wong are found in the North-West of the European part of the USSR, S. ambiqua Fall. being the most common of them. All the 3 species prefer plantations at the age of 10-15 years with sufficient illumination. Data on the ecology, damage and a list of the parasites are given, measures of the chemical control are also proposed.
