The ichneumonid Campoletis chlorideae is reported causing 25% parasitism in larvae of the noctuid Helicoverpa armigera on chickpeas [Cicer arietinuml in Uttar Pradesh, India; larvae on peas were also parasitized. Parasitism was recorded from the 3rd week of April, gradually increased, and reached a maximum in the Ist week of May, when host infestation also peaked. Due to its late appearance, the parasitoid seemed to have little impact on host populations. none
