none Allorhogas pyralophagus (Marsh, 1984) has been evaluated as a parasitoid of the sugarcane borer Diatraea saccharalis (Fabricius, 1794) under the conditions of the Centre-South of Brazil. The studies comprised some aspects of its biology, rearing methods in laboratory and also the evaluation of its borer parasitizing activity in the field. It was concluded that A. pyralophagus has no value for the biocontrol of sugarcane borer under the field conditions studied.
