none The population levels of flour insect pests and their associated entomophagous insects were investigated in four localities in Egypt, Cairo, Alexandria, Beni-suef and Fayoum, during the period from December 1979 to November 1980. Pests and their abundance seem to vary from locality to another. Tribolium spp. always ranked first at all localities followed by Anagasta kuehniella at Cairo and Alexandria and by Corcyra cephalonica at Fayoum and Beni-Suef. The predaceous bug Allaeocranum biannulipes distributed only in Cairo and Alexandria, while Xylocoris flavipes was found in Beni-Suef and Fayoum. The parasites Bracon hebetor, Nemeritis canescens and Holepyris sylvanidis were recorded in Cairo and Alexandria and the latter species was only, in Fayoum and Beni-Suef.
